The New MRB - MO Interchange

Missouri Department of Transportation - 2011

$21.8 Million

This is the final project on the Missouri side of the ‘New Mississippi River Bridge. The Missouri North I-70 interchange connects the New Mississippi River Bridge with the existing I-70 roadway as well as downtown St. Louis. Current plans for the interchange include providing access from the interchange to a future Tucker Avenue improvement completed by St. Louis City and funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. Work on this project includes 4 bridges, two CIP retaining walls, three MSE walls, PCC pavement, drainage, signing and ITS elements to be completed by August of 2013.
I-270 & Rott Rd, St. Louis County

Missouri Department of Transportation - 2010

This project rehabilitates and resurfaces the I-270 bridges over I-44 and Rott Road. The work involves removing the existing wearing surface of the deck, repairing the decks, hydro surface profiling, and installation of a new deck surface. Multiple traffic control stages maintains traffic through the corridor while work progresses.

This project involves the rehabilitation of a 1400 FT section of Sarah Street from West Belle to Page Ave. It consists of 1300 SY of permeable concrete shoulder, removing/resetting existing granite curb, replacement of existing storm drainage structures, and asphalt overlay. Also included is the replacement of 187 LF of 8” ductile iron water main.
Carrie Avenue Improvements

St. Louis Development Corporation

This project involves the rehabilitation of a 2900 FT section of Carrie Ave. from Broadway to Hall St. It consists of 4500 SY of full depth asphalt pavement replacement/widening, removing/resetting existing granite curbs, concrete curb & gutter, 2300 SY of pavement replacement, and 2600 SY of pervious concrete sidewalk replacement. Also included is the installation of 600 FT of 36” – 48” storm sewer pipe and the replacement of existing traffic signals at Carrie Ave. and Broadway.
Spirit Airport Ground Run-up

St. Louis County

$3.1 Million

This project for Spirit Airport in St. Louis County includes the construction of a Ground Run-up Enclosure to on west end of the airfield. Construction of this blast deflection structure includes 5,300 SY of concrete pavement, 630 feet of 2’ thick reinforced footings to support the structure and additional site and electrical work to connect to the existing airport taxiway.
Cass Avenue Bridge

Missouri Department of Transportation - 2010

$4 Million

This project consists of replacing the Cass Avenue Bridge over I-70. These improvements are part of the ongoing Mississippi River Bridge Project. Other improvements include: new concrete pavement on Cass Ave. (between Broadway and 8th Street), construction of ADA compliant curb ramps and sidewalks, new sanitary/storm sewers, and updated lighting and signals.
Hazelwood Avenue White-Topping

City of Hazelwood

$1.3 Million

This approximately 1 mile section of Hazelwood Road located in the Cities of Hazelwood and Berkeley, MO runs from Frost Road on the south to Pershall Road on the north. The project currently is a combination of 7 inch minimum overlay and 8” replacement totaling 18,000 square yards. The work also includes several driveway connections, associated drainage and striping for this heavily commercial area.
Pedestrian Bridge

Great Rivers Greenway

$3.6 Million

South County Riverfront Access & Bike/Pedestrian Trail – As part of the Great Rivers Greenway trail system, this project extends the trail along the Mississippi River wetlands. The project consists of two new pedestrian bridges. A single span bridge and an eleven span bridge. Other construction includes retaining wall construction, lighting, and fencing. When completed this new path will provide access from the Jefferson Barracks Park to just south of the new River City Casino.
